An L.A.-based dealer died somewhat unexpectedly about two years ago, and his wife, knowing my sideline as a reviewer (used to be TAS, now PFO), contacted me about selling his considerable pile of equipment.
Among the many items is a BC 3000 line-stage preamplifier with a BCG3.1 power supply. I gotta say, I'm impressed by the build quality and the lay-out of this thing. Almost pure dual-mono, suspension-mounted hand-wired circuit board; the preamp is obsessive, to say the least. But if you're looking at this site, you already know that. With a Cardas power-supply cable.
Retail was $6250.
