These CDs were a purchase based on a recommendation. And it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment.
Disappointed not by the content but with the mastering. The performances are overly bright even shrill at times as if the recording engineer suffered from conductive hearing loss. The bass fared no better. The bottom end was very weak and flat, almost vasectomized.
This is more less ambiance music that I will play at low volume during a dinner party. Sample before you buy. I just took one for the team.
