Sure thing --- Please ask your wife what she wants for em'
Oddly enough I used to drive the main panels of my Tympani III-A's with BC2's. The dream for me at the time was a venerable trio of BC2/2000's per side -- to tri-amp the panels. Given the vintage wiring at that location I would have needed to change fuses between songs

Over the years I have tended to listen near field. This favours direct sound and minimizes reflections from the walls.
The positions in the picture were determined using CARA software which optimizes speaker placement and the listening position based on room dimensions and absorbtion caracteristiscs of the walls and floor.

Found this picture of one of my very first setups. It goes a few years back. Things have evolved a bit since then.

My new sound room with room treatments installed. by Don Leman, on Flickr
In May of this year we moved to a new home in Courtenay BC. One of the criteria was that it had to have a separate room for audio. We did find the perfect house and I am slowly getting things set up. I still need to reinstall the cartridge in my tone arm and clean the pots in my dolby noise reduction unit that connects to the ReVox.

There's nothing better than a dedicated room. Well done!
