NSW 300 watt stereo power amplifier
NSW power amplifier...
So... I've only had this up and running for a couple of weeks, so a super detailed expose is out of the question as yet, but, I really like this amp. It came out of the box playing well, and I have to say that its level of performance surprised both Gilbert and I. I expected very, very good, but my expectations were well exceeded.
I will tell you all basically the same thing I told Bob Neill last week... The NSW sits somewhere between the NSP and NSL, and yet at the same time stands completely apart from both of them. The tube lovers will love it paired with the BC307. I think I prefer it with the NSC. It has character and style in spades, and a huge crate of whup-ass out the back end. A thoroughly enjoyable amp that acquits itself extremely well on a very wide assortment of music. No shortage of fun here... Get the string quartets! Get the female vocalists! Get the Stravinsky! Get the Jamiroquai! It's all cool!
