Me on vacation

I suppose if this section of the forum is call Blue Circle & Audio related stuff, I think I can consider myself the Blue Circle part.

After over 26 years of working for Blue Circle, I have NOT yet decide to quit. But I have decided to take a vacation. Relatively long vacation. A three weeks long vacation. Nobody, except one person, on earth know exactly where I am and when I am going to be there.

Starting tomorrow, I am gone. I have planned to come back on the 30th of May. If I don't show up at work on the 31st of May (I know it's a Sunday. I work every Sunday if I am around), either it means I like it so much out there and decided not to come back. OR, I have eaten by some wild terry bear or pussy cat. Better, yet fell off the edge of a cliff.

If I show up on the 30th, it means I have decide to come back to work for a little while longer. Only more vacations in the future.

I have asked all the factory to not work that much while I am gone. Stay home and enjoy life since I am doing so somewhere else. Things will still get done but at a much slower pace. Decisions will not be made until I come back or decided not to come back.

BTW I am not going to check e-mail while I am out there some where. Most places I am planning to stay don't have internet connections. The planet will still turn at the same speed without me checking e-mail for a few days. I have no doubt of that.

Gilbert. With all the great products you have done and dedication to perfection, you deserve your vacation more than most. Of course you will come back, it's in your blood. Make sure you take regular vacations in your life from now on because life is short and life is more than just business. I will bet that during your vacation, you will probably think up something great to develop or re-develop. Just don't spend too much time thinking about your company.

This is true.

One day in my vacation I was hiking on a trail somewhere in the desert. It required some climbing of rocks but not much cliffs. It's not a looped trail so I had to back track when it was time to go home. Guess what, I got lost and spent almost an hour to find the trail again. Good thing I got lot of water but I didn't need it. The sun was on strike that day and the cloud was on parade all over the sky.

I saw a lot of lazzzzzzzzzards, wild donkeies and a beeeeeeeg snake. No terry bear no wild pussy cat. I think looked at me and decided me skinny bone lo taste goot and he went onto his own business. So I have been spared and came back to work.

Count on me going to the wild wild west again soon because I bought an annual pass of that place so I have to make my mun lay worth while.

Too bad about no terry bear no wild pussy cat ... but hey, maybe some day may get eaten by Canadian terry bear no wild pussy cat right behind the factory ... no reason no be positive, could happen
