BC1002

Post by Chowder_head » Sun Apr 06, 2014 2:31 pm

Has anyone heard the BC1002. How would you compare the sound to the FtTH2, which I have heard? Please cover all the "bands" - bass, mids, treble, balance and degree of color and sound stage.

If you can, can you compare it to any transistor output stage amp (bi-polar, Jfet, Mosfet).

Bob Neill, the Crimson amps have bipolar output stages.

Thanks...Mac

Chowder

I can tell you at this point nobody has heard the BC1002 yet. Because I have the only prototype and it is sitting in the shop about 20 ft away from me. 8)

Well, Gilbert...can you answer my question(s)? And can you tell me, if it will work OK with the SBH preamp you recently built for me that I added to the PS and cap pack? This preamp works very well with my 45 (tube) monos. It's pretty neutral and the bandwidth of the whole system is pretty wide, good enough to allow the 45s do their thing.
