Hi Nick, Read carefully what i wrote. It is "mythical", a product of my sleeping dream imagination. The CS CD player exists only in my mind, and it was a beautiful image to see and hear. A not so subtle plea to Gilbert to use his genius to design and build more products for poor people that sound a...

You may never read this, but look for the re-mastered double CD by Francois Hardy, a french singer still going after 30 or so years. This IS soul. Also, there's a new guy, name of Amos Lee. One CD. Forget the name.

Organic = Francois Hardy. I was in love with her a long time ago and bought some CDs of hers, but then my mood changed and i put them away and lost them. Then out of the blue, my sweet daughter in the US sent me some tracks she had burned and i put the CD on and played it through the CS. I am in lo...

Thanks Gilbert. I enjoyed getting to know more about you. I have a short history in electrical engineering. The first and last circuit I designed: 1954. I was at primary level boarding school in the US. All the other kids were putting together those super-het receiver kits that you could buy from t...

Thanks Dave, The old biddie next to us called the police last night to get me to shut off my system after 20.00, wihtout even coming over first to ask. My little kolonigargen house house was full of other neighbors when the cops arrived. Quite a discussion followed. One was a hifi buff who tried to...

Hi Gilbert, That's what you call an "open economy". Only we have learned how to compete by making our export products more expensive than anyone elses. So, go out and buy a danish ham or some Georg Jensen stainless steel flatware. Or the cookies! We also export all of our brightest people who can't...

No self respecting danish person would ever eat such a thing. But americans seem to love them. True danish pastry, bread and cakes can only be found in Denmark.

I look forward to finding out more about your audio background.

Anyone ever heard of a home-built breakin device that simulates the work of a set of 8-ohm speakers, but has no audio output? Would the circuit(s) be simple? Could you mod a set of old speakers to do this, even if you destroyed them? Them, I have.

Hi Dave, I live in a small cottage on the outskirts of Copenhagen in the summer, called a koloni garden house, and i can't play it at night because we have only 3 small rooms, but I plan to play music with the receiver on for most of the day and CD's in the evening. Does it work to play music throu...

My higher math says:

smart man + dumb woman = smart man
smart man + smart woman = conflict

How do you confuse a dumb blonde?

Ask her a question.

My wife is a sweet, lovely, and blonde danish woman, by the way.

OK, Gilbert. I have been playing the CS for about an hour. (Nick tells me only 299 to go before it "opens up"). Neverthelss, I have three under-30 serious audio enthusiasts listen ing with me an all they can say are things like. "Fedt, mand", "l?kert", "fantasisk", and "kanon fedt lyd." It is certa...

I am not a guest. I am the proud (hopefully) new owner of a Blue Circle CS integrated amplifier who doesn't have enough sense to log on.

Has anyone got any thoughts about playing these Audio Note Kit speakers with the CS? I have heard the high-end Audio Notes with a variety of different sources and amps and they are both very musical and precise, and actually nicer than some Dynaudios I heard at a much higher price, at least to my e...
