But seriously...

You can plug-in your BC86 into the wall duplex and hook your BC6000 into it. You still get mega filtering and can hook all your components in it. That will give you the extra length without any loss. Yes? No?

Simple. Elegant. I like it. I particularly like the use of the wall mounted shelves for gear and for knick knacks. I do look forward to a dedicated room some day. Sigh...

Thanks Stew, that shelf for the cd player is great for isolating from vibration,95% of my listening comes from my tuner, sometime i think that my tuner should be there instead.
I've had the DAR for a few mounths now and it keeps sounding better and better everyday,i could't be happier :D

Réjean, nice system. If you ever come across a Russian 1578 tube for the DAR jump on it. The DAR responds very well to tube rolling. When I was playing with the prototype two years ago I was always impressed with the its ability to deliver warm clean inviting sounds.
Raven and I had the opportunity to compare the DAR directly to a much more expensive McIntosh integrated and the much more expensive Mc was not the winner.

Hi Totemman

Thanks for the tube rolling advice,i know i will eventually get into that, but for now i am still very very satisfied with the sound i got from my DAR,this integrated is in my opinion very hard to beat,it has to be BC best keept secret
Have you ever tryed your mani-2 with it?

No Réjean I never tried my Mani2 with the DAR. At the time that I was beta testing the DAR I was using Tabu speakers. I knew thae DAr was something special then as the Tabu speakers were known as amp killers.
I used the BmPH with the Mani-2, the NSL and the NSP. I also used the SB 140T. According to common wisdom you are not supposed to drive the Mani2 with anything less than 250 solid state watts, but that does not hold true in the land of the Blue Circle. All of the above separates and the integrated made my Manis sing.

No, this not a paid publicity for Ikea,it's a real pain in the butt to put together but man, does it make a difference.
