Another year and another 100+ CDs added to the collection. Many selections purchased thanks to some of your recommendations and some reviewed by myself on this forum.
My top pick for 2012 has to be Jackie Evancho reviewed here: http://www.tlp-audio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1480
Although her second album is not as inspiring as her first one, she still manages to send chills down your spine. Even an hard-ass biker serving time in a federal penitentiary would be moved.
As I mentioned previously, my hopes is that she will not be used as a cash cow and be grounded in her skills and life and not follow the path of Charlotte Church or LeeAnn Rhimes, both child prodigies, for example.
My biggest disappointment of the year is Wilson-Philips reviewed here:

All I will say is " Why screw-up classics from your iconic parents?"
Looking forward to 2013. I am in regular contact with Synne Sanden in Norway http://www.tlp-audio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1443 and will be the first recipient in North America of her up-coming release next March. Very special as she doesn't market herself outside the EU.
Hits and misses for 2012.
