Since the BC21.1 has now been replaced, it is a vintage piece of gear and has been moved upstairs.

This is a overview. I'll post another picture of the equipment.
Image

Ahhh yes, I hesitated at whether I should have drawn attention to this. What would you call it a BCtota switch?

If it had been designed ergonomically it would have been a button toggle switch so I wouldn't have to bend over, I could just click it with my foot. I can do that now to turn it off :)

The Soundlab's I am familiar with are tall curved panels.

These are not Soundlabs.

So far no other guesses, so here is a clue

I bought them new in the late 70's or early 80's.

So far two good guesses! No they are not Infinity's but they are electrostatic. Actually an electrostatic hybred.

They are 77" tall and 22" in diameter.
There is a 10" woofer in the top and a 10" in the base. The electrostatic element is a line source running the full height. The speaker are aimed at each other and the sound from the electrostatic element enters the room in a 180 degree arc eliminating any near wall reflection.

Does that help?

Just an added memory....

The speaker is horizontally bi-amped. The crossover is at 200 Hz. Back in the days when I lived in Kitchener, we used 4 BC2's to drive them.

The BC2 was a 75 watt single ended Class A hybred. Boy did the lights ever dim when we fired that up!!
