Raven's System
Raven's System
My BC507NB was delivered yesterday. It was a bittersweet event as I essentially now have my dream system. I realize there will always be improvements however this set up has exceeded my highest expectations.
One of the conditions for allowing the system in the living room was to hide as much stuff as possible. Wife was kind enough to spring for the mule chest but the BmPH is too freekin' huge to fit in any normal furniture so at least I get to look at it.
My listening space is 9500+ cubic feet and the BmPH and the DAR I auditioned fill this space without breaking a sweat.
Thanks to Gilbert for great products, customizations and advice.
Extra special thanks to Totemman, an exceptional person, dealer and listening buddy.
System (some things are stored out of view)
Power stuff
BC6000 power conditioner
BC606
Yalu Balula
Sources
Micromega Duo.Pro2 CD transport (Hands OFF Jim, back away slowly...)
iMac through an Airport Express, iPad and iPhone as remotes.
Dual CS505-2 turntable
Nakamichi 481Z compact cassette player
Tivoli Model One used as a tuner (eyes on a MD102T someday)
Pre and Amplifier
Fon Lo Thingee with Biggie Pipe power supply
BmPH
Speakers
Gershman Sonograms
Connections
BIS Audio Maestro speaker cables
BC 62 and BC 61 power cords
BC 99 and 99.5 interconnects
Double sided tape on the Sonograms to keep the kitties off the equipment.

Sorry Double D, there was a minor hiccup with my not having an uploadpic button.
As you can see I don't spend $$ on camera equipment.

The BC507NB was customized to allow for the depth and width requirements of the cabinet. It also has a Neutrik out and a custom BC62 that uses the Neutrik output in the BC6000 giving me an extra outlet.

The main living room and entryway have 18ft ceilings and with the rest of the main floor and upper level being open concept the sound goes into every nook and cranny. I love having music everywhere.

Molly the cat (wife's hobby) hits the couch as soon as the music starts. She's a trooper even with Rush playing full throttle.

Ah yes, George, he who wonders why the stereo gets undivided attention for hours on end.Totemman wrote:Great pictures. The system sounds even more wonderful than it looks. However, you are missing one of the cats. As the system is stereo both cats have to be present to achieve full balance.
Here is George enjoying Dark Side of the Moon. That or he got into the liquor cabinet again...
