It's not quite as easy as adding up the filter numbers since it is apples and oranges between the sillycone filters and GICPO/60xx. They are implemented differently and only Gilbert can answer those questions - assuming he wants to divulge any secrets  . Contact Gilbert and he will be able to ...

I gave up trying to keep track of G's product line a couple of years ago. :D I didn't even realize the GICPO existed until about a month ago, but I think it has been out for a while now. From what I am told, the GICPO (Garbage In Clean Power Out) is between the PLC thingee and BC60xx line of conditi...

K-Dub
Definitely give them more time, but like anything in audio, nothing is universal, especially when it comes to power.

Go big - size matters :)

Mezmo, Given your situation, you may want to consider something like the GICPO if budget allows - you are almost 2/3 the way there. It will give you more outlets with more effective filtering than a PLC and 6x filter combined. Take my comments with a grain of salt since I have not tried the GICPO, b...

k-Dub, I know exactly what you are thinking because I only discovered this Sillycone filter thing about a year ago and went through a similar learning process. You can see my comments in this thread: http://tlp-audio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1100&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15 I asked Gilbert if...

Stetzerizer & Sillycone filters

I received the Stetzerizer meter in the mail just like the one that Gilbert was using at Axpona. Believe what you will about the company's claim about health benefits of using their filters to reduce electrical noise, but I have to admit that the meter is a valuable tool if you want to a quantitativ...

I hosted a party for my daughter's hockey team - 17 teenage girls, sitting in the HT room, all texting away. I have 8 dedicated lines in the HT room, but every single one of them had chargers plugged into them. I had to get a powerbar so they could all plug in their smartphones! Don't blame just the...

I would like to make one thing clear. We are using the Stetzer to show the amount of noise drop with out filters. We DO NOT support their claim of health benefit. We make our filters to clean the power line only. Oh I am not so sure of that, cause when I plug in those sillycone filters, my ears hav...

I use a couple of 18x sillycone filter with the amps plugged directly into dedicated lines. You certainly won't be disappointed with the 6x filters. The nice thing about these sillycone filters is that the more you add, the more refinement and ease you will bring to your system. I have asked Gilbert...

Now that I am more diligent about powering down the 208s when I am not listening, the GLs that were installed back in May are still running quietly. That's a far cry from the 4 months I used to get from these tubes!
