Re: 002i with EPS Re-visited

I knew you'd come around. The 002i is special enough as-is, but add the power supply... whoa...

Re: A New Power Amplifier Prototype

"It sounds good, mon" is likely a bit of an understatement... At first glance, this looks like (and started out as) half of a pair of AG8000 mono block amplifiers. This particular amp was reworked to put out 200 watts as opposed to the standard 140 watts of the regular AG8000. So as Gilbert says, an...

Semi-retirement...

Well, as someone who is eligible to receive a full pension as of today, someone who has worked with you for over 15 years, and someone who has reasonable knowledge of what you have been up to design-wise over the past six months, I can only say: 1. Welcome to the semi-retirement club! 2. I love the ...

NSW power amplifier...

So... I've only had this up and running for a couple of weeks, so a super detailed expose is out of the question as yet, but, I really like this amp. It came out of the box playing well, and I have to say that its level of performance surprised both Gilbert and I. I expected very, very good, but my ...

Thats kind of the same way I feel about the CSD integrated. Class D as I've never heard before. I'll be interested to hear you take on the tube version when you get your ears on it.

Relax... 8)... We're all getting a little older. Yesterday at TAVES I couldn't recall what the name of the DAR was. Lots of models to remember just with Blue Circle, let alone all the other brands. The SCM40 speakers are $6K (USD) plus speakers. They are quite good, and the CSD does not have the lea...

Umm... the SCM 40 speakers are the big system... I am still really impressed. Very smooth and articulate, LOTS of oomph. Really a lot more to this amplifier than the sub $3000 price tag would suggest.

CSD

Couldn't agree more, except that the CS was never this good - the CSD has a lot more girth and bounce to the sound. It's currently driving the daylights out of a pair of ATC SCM40 speakers. I've been trying to tear myself away since I fired it up this morning... I am currently in to CD #6... still n...

New integrated coming...

I have the pleasure of beta testing a new Blue Circle integrated this weekend. As you can see, it has a tube. It also has a switch to bypass the tube circuit. I don't know what the new model name will be, but if this one goes to production it will likely be in the same price range as the DAR. There ...

There is no doubt that the NSL Jr. will drive your BM2 speakers - the pair should sound awesome.
