I have not had any bad speaker/amp experiences with Blue Circle.

I remember when I lived in Kitchener we bi-amped my Beveridge speakers with 4 BC2 monoblocks. The only downside on that occasion was blown circuit breakers due to the current draw.

I agree with Attilio on the Harbeth Super HL5's.

As a Harbeth dealer I have had the opportunity to use them with the entire line, incuding the new Monitor 40.1.
