If you check out the reviews on the home page of the Blue Circle website you will find two reviews of the amp.

I use one in my home theatre setup and have never heard anything better.

I would recommend it without hesitation.

Ya, but you'd need two for stereo.

I'll bet he has a pair of DQ10's in the basement.

As both a Harbeth and Blue Circle dealer I'd like to confirm Bob's statement about how well they go together. You will not be disappointed.

The Harbeth Compact 7ES-3 in my opinion moves you a few rows closer than it's predecessor, which I believe Tom was using in the review.

It will not matter which position you use, although for convenience sake I normally use the bottom so I have easier access to the top one. The only exception would be that sometimes you have something else to plug in that needs to use the bottom such as a walwart or powerbar that has a downward faci...

Over the years I have tended to listen near field. This favours direct sound and minimizes reflections from the walls. The positions in the picture were determined using CARA software which optimizes speaker placement and the listening position based on room dimensions and absorbtion caracteristiscs...

Hi Don, I've got a BC3000 and BC204 too. My room is smallish at 7 feet high, 15 feet wide and 20 feet long. I'm curious about your Harbeth speekers. How is the bass in your room with the Harbeth 40.1? How is the imaging? I won't bother asking about the midrange. What size/shape is your room? Thanx ...

I got to know Gilbert about the time he was developing the prototype of the BC3. At the time I was running Audio Research stuff and the BC3 smoked it. One of the most memorable times was when Gilbert brought over a few BC2's for me to audition. So we had a BC3 driving a Symmetry ASC-1a electronic cr...

I have a tweak question My BC204 is sitting on the floor between and well behind my speakers. Should I put the amp up on cones? Rollerblocks? I'd appreciate comments from anyone who's tried it. Valvefan :P I have mine on a Skylan amp stand, which is two layers of MDF with damping between and spikes...

Since Harbeth speakers are designed to present an easy load to an amplifier, speaker - amplifier matching isn't really an issue here. The newly updated Monitor 40.1 is the one I listen to when no one's around. Previously, the Super HL5 was my favourite. Actually Bob Neill would be a far better perso...
