Re: TSP

Thanks Bob
Appreciated. I have a Moon i7 so perhaps it's not for me. I was just curious because I love Gilbert's smaller creations which turn out to be tremendous value for money.

TSP

Hi,
Has anyone out there tried one of these?
I haven't been able to dig up any feedback anywhere.
Thanks.

Sounds like good value!

I have a dual mono integrated amp with a tape loop, which means there are 'left' and 'right' in and out connections. Could you explain to an electronical dufus how to plug a simulator into this set up?
Do I need two single-ended, one for 'left' and 'right'?

Hi Double D

How's the Xe1 upgrade sounding now?
I have a 6000si and I'm seriously considering getting a Xe1 plug-in for it so any thoughts on sq would be much appreciated.

Thanks

It's been about 3 weeks and the TPX120 should be broken in by now, so I just thought I would add a couple of things that I have noticed above and beyond the general improvement in SQ. Firstly, vocals really stand out and have more presence, and secondly, stringed instruments (including pianos) have ...

I second beyond1000's post. I started with a regular Thingee with surge protection and then moved on to a BC6000si to which I have added a TPX120. Each move has been worth it. The PLC Thingee is a good place to start and will give you a flavour of what Blue Circle conditioners can do. I know for som...

Took delivery of a TPX 120 today and right off the bat with no break-in whatsoever I'm extremely pleased with what it's doing. Overall the sound is more relaxed, which could imply something has been taken away but not at all, vocals jump out of the speakers, the bottom end is more foot-tapping induc...

Found it. The power consumption of my CDP is 20 VA.

What's the power consumption of the BC507 DAC?

Thanks

OK so the GFCI outlets can be ignored.
Would I find the max output of the CD player in the manual? I'm asking this because I have to look it up online.

Hi Gilbert

Can a CD player also be plugged into this?
And, can you explain the reason for the different sockets?

Thanks

Wow! That was quick. Thank you. I look forward to Sacha turning up with a big box!

I like the idea of totally isolating the DAC first to see what that does to SQ.

Thanks again :D
