Re: Someone visited "the man" and sent us these pix.
Good lord... look at that power supply. Any idea what were are looking at here? Clearly the hamsters are still running the wheel at full throttle... Whatever it is, the preamp section has something very interesting in it that I recognize - don't want to let the cat out of the bag though if t...

Re: Entracte Audio - Power Line Filters have arrived!!!
I think the best description would be better transparency, increased focus, and ease of presentation. And keep in mind, this wasn't after a day or two of listening, it was immediate. One of my customers will be along here in the forum any day now - he purchased an EF130 last week and is pretty pleas...

Entracte Audio - Power Line Filters have arrived!!!
As of April 3, 2019, Entracte Audio is pleased to offer its own brand of power line filters under the brand name Entracte Audio by Design. This is a collaborative effort including Gilbert Yeung (of the former Blue Circle Audio), and Walt Stagner (TLP Audio). We have joined forces to present a newly ...

Re: First Post from TLP Audio-March 25 2019
Just to add a little technical info... A number of folks have asked via e-mail if these are the same filters as the former Blue Circle PLC units. Short answer: Yes and no. Yes, because these are capacitor based power line filters with no current limit and because they use different values of capacit...

Re: Adjustable tube hybrids -- what are your experiences?
Hey Bob, I see what you're getting at, and though I agree in principal about wanting tonal/timbral accuracy, I just don't think it really exists in any pure way with regards to audio equipment. The fact of the matter is, the truth is gone once that signal goes into a microphone or a DI in the record...

Re: Adjustable tube hybrids -- what are your experiences?
I have been fortunate enough to hear a number of the adjustable designs. I won't get into 3D qualities, or holographic sound - those are personal perceptions of sound... valid, but personal. The easiest way for me to think of the tube adjustment function, is as a fine tuning mechanism for your room/...

NSI - the first impressions
Long post, buckle up… I imagine that a number of folks around the forum have heard rumblings of the NSI, Gilbert’s ultimate rendering of an integrated amplifier. I know it was on his radar about 18 months ago when I first heard about it, so I’m guessing the idea was formed considerably before that. ...

Re: TSP
Hi Splityew, I'm going to veer from Uncle Bob's opinion a bit, which I hesitate to do, because we agree on most things - I think the TSP is definitely worth a try with your Moon. He is correct, it may not be for everybody, but the TSP has a knack of adding just a little bit of tube magic without rem...

Welcome Jake...
If I had posted back in 1996 when I first purchased a BC21/BC22 pre/power combo, I'm guessing the post would have been a lot like this. Welcome to the journey, and enjoy the music!
